Founded by Owner and President Wesley R. Berlin, PE, Spartan Engineering Solutions, LLC offers unsurpassed service and technical expertise on all projects we undertake. Each project is designed and managed by Mr. Berlin, who has nearly 20 years of Civil Engineering experience in Site Development and Pavement Engineering design. Mr. Berlin has successfully designed and managed hundreds of projects throughout all areas of Michigan, including the Upper Peninsula, and for numerous site locations nationwide within Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, and Texas.

About Us

Spartan Engineering Solutions, LLC (SES Consulting) was founded by Wesley R. Berlin, PE. Mr. Berlin graduated from Michigan State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with Honors (magna cum laude). Mr. Berlin worked at Soils & Materials Engineers, Inc. (SME) as a summer intern and fall co-op during 2001 and 2002. During his final year at MSU he worked as an Engineering Aide for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Upon graduation from MSU in 2003, Mr. Berlin began his career with full time employment at PEA, Inc., where he was employed until 2016 when he founded Spartan Engineering Solutions, LLC. Knowledge gained includes construction materials testing, construction observation and oversight, technical report writing, Site Development design, Pavement Engineering design, Site Planning, Project Management, staff mentoring, business development, and client development. Mr. Berlin is responsible for all aspects of Spartan Engineering Solutions, LLC including daily operations, financials, contracts, project design, and project management.
